I have completed over 25 site-specific commissions for the commercial, healthcare and hospitality environments. I am a responsive, reliable creative partner who prides himself on maintaining excellent communications throughout the entire commission process.

Tell A Story

Permanence

My mosaics are made from postage stamps I have collected from around the world. They are beautiful and created to stay that way. Early on, I hired two conservators to review my fabrication process in order to achieve maximum durability and permanence. Based on their guidance, we use only the highest-quality archival products including multiple layers of UV-inhibiting art varnish. The mosaics have a durable, silky finish that protects the stamps from UV light and the viewer’s touch.

In 2007, I created a large mosaic for the Jacksonville International airport spanning a 500’ wall. The heavily traveled facility accommodates over 250,000 passengers every month. Recently, they hired a conservator to review their entire collection, including my mosaic. It was found to be in good shape and was easily cleaned where people touched it.
